A seat is any active user who can log into HatchOS as a dispatcher, agent, finance staff, or operations manager. Carrier portal users, customer portal users, and admin/owner accounts do not consume a seat.

What's a "seat"?⌄

A seat is any active user who can log into HatchOS — dispatchers, agents, finance staff, operations managers. Carrier portal users and customer portal users do not consume a seat. Admin/owner accounts don't consume a seat either.

What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?⌄

Monthly billing gives full flexibility — scale up, down, or cancel without penalty. Annual billing is prepaid for 12 months and saves 15% off the monthly rate. No minimum commitment, no cancellation fees on monthly.

Is there a minimum seat count?⌄

No. Start with 1 seat on any plan. Adding seats takes 60 seconds in Settings. Volume discounts apply automatically at 50+ seats on Growth and Scale — no manual negotiation.

Can I bring my own factoring company?⌄

Yes. HatchOS supports custom factor routing. Configure your existing factoring relationship in Settings → Factors, assign factors per carrier or per shipment, and run settlements through your factor without changing your banking setup. We support Quick Pay, non-recourse, and recourse factoring models.

How long does white-label onboarding take?⌄

Scale plan comes with a 14-day go-live guarantee for white-label configuration — custom domain setup, SSL provisioning, brand asset upload, and a dedicated onboarding session. Most tenants are live in under 7 business days. Complex multi-brand setups (resellers, 50+ seats) may take up to 14 days.

No. HatchOS runs month-to-month by default at every tier. Annual billing is optional — and saves 15%. No minimum commitment, no cancellation penalties, no enterprise contract required.

What happens to my data if I cancel?⌄

You get a full export of all your data — shipments, contacts, accounts, documents, commissions — within 30 days of cancellation. We don't hold data hostage. After 30 days the tenant is permanently deleted per our retention policy.

Is HatchOS SOC 2 compliant?⌄

HatchOS is SOC 2 Type II in progress (target Q3 2026). Current controls: AES-256-GCM encryption for OAuth tokens, parameterized SQL throughout, tenant isolation at the database query layer, immutable audit logs for all account actions, RBAC with 6 permission levels, and 2FA support.
